——作文常見錯誤大曝光三之三
接上期，同學們除經常混淆「There is」和「It is」外，也亦會用一些chinglish字眼給maker留下壞印象。例如生活方式，他們用「living style」但正確的寫法卻是「life style」。石屎森林的英文應是「concrete jungle」，他們卻寫成「concrete forest」。另一常錯的字還有惡性循環。他們會寫成「vivious cycle」，但實則應是「vicious circle」。因為循環譯成「cycle」，所以每年筆者看到有不少學生栽在這個「循環」（circle）上。以下是一些同學們常錯的chinglish expressions(見表１)。
