每年三月，例必是很多公司冬季大減價的時刻，正是購物好時機，特別是資金不太充裕的人，想要經濟一點，可以用較少的金錢多買一點貨品，或者買得心頭所好。

上句的shop on a shoestring不是說用鞋帶去買東西。這句短語的意思是開支很小，不用花費很多。Shoestring的意思是鞋帶，是美式英語的用字，英式英語會用shoelace。
